A native Southern Californian, Rich built his business from scratch. He worked his way from the bottom up, starting when he was a teenager. He quickly rose from a loan officer to a senior consultant to starting his own company specializing in serving credit unions when he was in his mid-20s. A licensed broker and inspector, Rich developed a number of financial programs for the California Credit Union League and was the architect of the mortgage department for the state's oldest chartered credit union, Universal City Studios Credit Union, which has served employees at Universal Studios for nearly 80 years. Today, Rich's multi-million dollar corporation includes a home loan division, credit union division, investor services, real estate division, and equity division.
